Grassroots Enterprise for Social Inclusion and Poverty Relief (GESIPR) is a Charitable Incorporated Organization set up with the overall aim of engaging in skills development for income generation, and social enterprises programmes that promotes the prevention of Social Exclusion or relief of poverty and to promote social inclusion for the public benefit. Our work is based in the UK and Africa.
Founded in 2014, GESIPR was conceived by a group of grassroot persons in response to the limited access to information and services in the society. A gap in the system was identified; A gap that promotes social inclusion, targets the socially excluded and the vulnerable poor because of their family or social background, criminal history, physical and mental health, and socio-economic status.
Our response will not only be targeting those excluded from employment, productive resources and economic opportunities, but similarly those who might have limited access to essential services such as decent housing, food security, education, health care, social and cultural participation, security, civil rights, voice and representation.
Bringing communities together for innovative venture to enable socially vulnerable persons to live a decent and dignified life.
